WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT?
To stay up to enjoy watching Steven Colbert jest the truth about our president … like following the daylight hours of summer months … or go to bed and get up at sunrise and prep for a morning adventuride departure to maybe get back before winter’s pre-dinner sunset? With the colder AM temps, Colbert usually wins.
AN INDY TO AMO PIZZA LOOP
At the Amo-located Vandalia trail head is the Amo Pizza shop. It’s a great little place with a very helpful staff. A 7’ pizza is more than enough fuel for my trike’s human engine to make the return in the dark ride, with a slight tail wind, totall enjoyable.
FROM TOUGH TO TUFF
Life can seem pretty damn tough here in Indy. Well, getting started on a summer time schedule for any lengthy adventuride means riding back in the dark.
Then again, night riding can seem pretty damn tuff here in Indy. After calming down and realizing that due to the fact that autodrivers probably wonder what they’re seeing a flying xmas tree or maybe E.T. flying by in his well-lit space ship, the night can be pretty neat.
WEARING THE RIGHT CLOTHES
Wearing the right clothes allows sinking back in the trike cockpit to the comfort of the deep sapphire-blue winter-night sky … no sweating, no keeping an eye on computer to track speed or distance and of course no upright bike-pain blues. The later … the less the traffic. On clear nights … the winter constellations tell their own story.
Well … It’s past 1pm… Off for maybe Lebanon…. slight change of late afternoon rain. Can hardly remember what Colbert said last night. Huh… summer’s 80 degree rain rides can be fun. Back again to tough?
Hola
Is it possible to have trike with “A Road Light” Photo instead of using a trike using “A Mountain Bike Light” Photo ?
The usage of A Road Light is legal with whom ever and where ever a trike rider may be at or go to.

Hello,
Not sure about the distinction between a road light and a mountain bike light. If you’re referring to the ICE trike w/e-assist on the post and if that’s a mountain bike light it’s using, it seems to be appropriate for the terrain its located in which fits the intended mood for the page. Hope that answered your question.

Hola David
It is easy to see the light used is A Mountain Bike Light because of the items reflecting waaay off to the side. Any Road Spec’d Light will not do this ( just as a Head Light on a BMW “GS Adventure” or a “Scrambler” by Triumph or a Chevy’s “Impala” .
The Road Signs shown means it is A Public Road The photo was taken on.

You’re looking at the nite photo… i get more where you’re coming from… i am at the w. End of B&O RT @ hndks cr500e… siting down trail sign reflections of of trail signs… light is a “road light” . It’s a Cygoite metro pro 1100 lumen… that picture is what that light on around 800 lumens looks like shining down a rail trail at night… i had it angled up to illuminate trail ahead, as not to run over any walkers wearing dark clothing with no lights or reflective…which has been avoided several times…
