IT’S READY TO GO!
New full synthetic oil change & full tank of gas. It’s a pleasure to steer and rides great. It has a V6 3.5L motor & a normal length wheel base. It has a surging pickup. It has 127170 miles. I’ve kept a detailed maintenance log.
FUNCTIONAL DESIGN
Functional buildout design patterned from owning/using 5 different Van RV Campers & several nationwide tours… It minimizes unnecessary headaches about appliance/power feature problems/malfunctions. It’s nice to travel with assurance that gas is probably the only travel expense, and the PVC piping used for buildout is lightweight and helps minimize gas mileage (15-20MPG). It also allows for quick/easy layout changes if the need arises. The layout design allows for open storage that’s hidden yet allows quick assessment and access.
TRAVEL WORRIES ARE MINIMIZED
It’s comforting that there will be no sudden electrical source or appliance breakdowns that will leave you with no realistic ways of getting repaired while on the road. I spent 6 months last winter hopping around free overnight parking around the St. Pete, Clearwater, FL area, riding my recumbent trike on the Pinellas Trail network.
IT’S READY FOR MANY MORE MILES
It has a 1-year-old professionally installed roof vent with a rainproof cover. It has quality Continental tires with 15K miles. The transferable service contract is good until July ’28. A new battery was installed on 8-25. The rear brakes have 10K miles, and the front brakes are at over 40%. I upgraded to a propane Olympian Wave 3 Catalytic Safety Heater. Its burning efficiency minimizes/eliminates pesky ceiling condensation in humid climate areas. It’s fed by a 22lb propane tank. I had the chassis lubed, u-bolts retrofitted, and new spark plugs installed 10K miles ago. Also, the brake system was flushed. The transmission was flushed and has new fluid. The differential was flushed. I use full synthetic oil at 4k-mile changes.
HAS ROOM TO MOVE AROUND
Because I’m a writer, it has a comfortable desk area with plenty of room for free movement. It uses a 4-gallon foot-pumped water source. Refrigeration is handled well by a 54 QT YETI cooler. USB lighting and fans do a great job of supplying lighting and cooling when needed. A 450-watt 12-volt inverter recharges the USB-powered items while driving through the day. It works great. It has a full-screen installed on the double sliding side door to use when needed. The front windows have effective screen covers for use when parked. There’s good airflow through the van, protected from insects. I use a JBL Charge 5 Bluetooth speaker, which works great. I never needed to buy a new speaker system. The van’s AM/FM radio does work and features front door speakers, as well as screens for speakers in the rear doors.
PVC BUILDOUT ALLOWS FOR EASY CHANGE
It’s neat & clean. It has heavy-duty Husky Floorliners with lifetime guarantees. There have been no pets or cigarette smoke. Using membership at a national fitness company, showering was never a problem. It’s designed to store a recumbent trike under the bed.
